Dr. Denis is a native of Michigan and received a BS in Medical Technology with honors in 1979
and his DVM in 1984 from Michigan State University. Upon graduating, he accepted a position
in a small animal/equine practice in Perrysburg, Ohio, where he practiced until relocating to
Greensboro. In July 1985, he began managing a small animal hospital in Greensboro and in
July 1988, he opened Cardinal Animal Hospital.
Dr.Denis is a member of several veterinary organizations and has served on the board with
many of them. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a special interest in
orthopedic surgery, dentistry, endoscopy and internal medicine.

Paula A. Jones, DVM

Dr. Paula A. Jones, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, received
a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Missouri State University
in 1996. In 2000, she received her DVM from the University of
Missouri-College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she
moved to Hope Mills, North Carolina and worked in a small
animal/equine practice. It was there she became interested in
laser surgery. |

In 2004, she moved to High Point to practice as
a relief veterinarian and performed laser surgery at various hospitals around the Triad.
Other professional interests include Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Surgery, & pocket pets.
In her free time she likes to bicycle, exercise, and horseback ride. She currently has
5 dogs, 3 cats, a Degu rodent, and a horse.
